Halloween Spooktacular: Tales of Supernatural Encounters

The producers of Perfect Liars Club, DC’s monthly “storytelling show with a twist”, are hosting A Halloween Spooktacular at The Wharf’s Union Stage on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will feature seven true spine-tingling tales of ghostly encounters from some of the best storytellers on the East Coast, a Q&A with a paranormal investigator, and other mysterious surprises.

Co-hosts Cara Foran and Pierce McManus have assembled an all-star lineup of performers for this show, many of whom have graced the stages of Story District and The Moth. Storytellers slated to appear include Washington’s Mike Kane, Philadelphia’s David Winston, and New York’s Sandi Marx. Tales will cover a haunted political race, visits from beyond the grave, ghostly apparitions, visions of the Revolutionary War, and more.  Foran and McManus will also interview paranormal investigator Hiram Henderson, the Director of Operations at Maryland Paranormal Research. Henderson’s organization has investigated paranormal phenomena all over the East Coast through science, technology, and parapsychology.
