The National Zoo’s popular wine tasting event, Zoo Uncorked, is back on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6-9 p.m. Join Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) to toast conservation at the Zoo and unwind with tastings from local wineries. Attendees will enjoy after-hours access to Reptile Discovery Center, Think Tank, Kids’ Farm, and Great Cats Circle, as well as animal demonstrations, live music, culinary delights from popular D.C. food trucks, and handcrafted goods sold by the local artisans of Grump Market.
Tickets are available now and include unlimited wine tastings, a commemorative wine glass, after-hours access to animal exhibits, and acoustic guitar entertainment courtesy of the band Sweater Set. General admission tickets are $55 for FONZ members and $70 for non-members. All ticket purchases help Friends of the National Zoo support the Zoo’s species-saving mission.
