Places in DC where you can watch the Olympics while enjoying food and drink specials.

Opening Night Parties, Aug. 5

The Prospect – Friday, Aug. 5 starting at 7 p.m. Drink specials include:

  • $4 Bud Lights, PBRs and Yuenglings
  • $6 Jameson Shots
Logan Tavern will have an extended happy hour on Fri., Aug. 5. Food specials go till 9 p.m. ($7 chicken sandwich, $5 truffle fries, $5 Mexican street corn etc.) and drink specials ($4.50 rails, $4.50 wine, $3.50 Miller Lite) go all night at the bar.

Buffalo Billiards –  Opening Ceremony watch party. Specials include:

Until 7 pm:

  • $4 Miller Lite, Budweiser, Bud Light, and Yuengling
  • $6 chips with salsa and guac, mozzarella sticks, buffalo chicken dip, pretzels, smothered fries, and buffalo bites

Specials that start at 7 pm:

  • $5 New Belgium drafts and cans
  • $15 New Belgium pitchers

Specials Throughout the Olympics, Aug. 5-21

Commissary will have Olympic-themed cocktails every day from Fri., Aug. 5 through Sun., Aug. 21, and all games will be shown on the full wall projector.
Rio themed cocktails are $9:
  • The Bronze Medal: Muddled Oranges, Mint, Pomegranate Syrup, Cachaça
  • The Silver Medal: Cachaça, Lime, Sugar Cane
  • The Gold Medal: Whiskey, Cachaça, Lime, Mint, Sugar Cane

City Tap House – Specials will be available with an early happy hour during the olympics (Mon. – Fri. ) from 3-7 p.m. and include:

  • $5 select beers
  • $6 house wine
  • $7 shot & beer

Iron Horse – Daily from 4-8 p.m. M-F and 5-8 Sat. & Sun. Specials include: $5 drinks, $5 wine and $2 off all draft beers.
