Adams Morgan Day Will Take Place on Sept. 13

The local businesses and neighbors of Adams Morgan have banded together to revive the longest continuing running neighborhood festival in the District.  The 2015 Adams Morgan Day celebration will take place on Sunday, Sept. 13, from noon to 6 p.m., along 18th Street and Columbia Road in Adams Morgan.

In its 37th year, the event is bringing the focus back to the neighborhood and the people and businesses within it.  “There will be many changes from years past, and we couldn’t be more excited!” said A. Tianna Scozzaro, who has taken the lead role in the re-established neighborhood tradition.  “While the streets will be open during the day-long activities, each restaurant and business will be able to do their own thing, giving this more of an organic and local feel,” she continued.

There are currently over 50 establishments who are participating in this year’s event. Activities will include face painting, music, fitness and wellness games, food and drink specials, and much more.
