Strathmore Opens New Concert Venue

Strathmore’s new off-campus concert venue AMP opens Friday, March 6 with back-to-back performances by alt-country icon Jay Farrar on Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7, and a triple bill featuring Toshi Reagon of Big Lovely with jazz drummer Allison Miller and electronic musician Be Steadwell on Sunday, March 8.

AMP opens as Strathmore celebrates the 10th anniversary season of its hallmark Music Center, further broadening the organization’s footprint in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. AMP was created in partnership with real estate developer Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE:FRT), with food provided by the tastemakers at 550 Events & Provisions, a division of Neighborhood Restaurant Group.
