Lead Singer of O.A.R. to Perform at the National Zoo
FONZ (Friends of the National Zoo) is set to throw one heck of a party on Friday, September 6, when Marc Roberge and Richard On of O.A.R. will perform an acoustic set at Rock-N-Roar sponsored by Whole Foods.
Surrounded by the lush beauty of Rock Creek Park, on the expansive Lion/Tiger Hill, this is a pretty awesome setup for any O.A.R. fan.
O.A.R has released seven studio albums and five live CDs. To date, they’ve sold close to 2 million albums and over 2 million concert tickets, including three sold-out shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
VIP ticket holders are invited to mingle in the exclusive Whole Foods Market VIP Lounge where they will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Whole Foods Market, private viewing of lions and tigers, two drink tickets, Rock-N-Roar souvenir, and VIP front row lawn space.
Tickets: VIP tickets are $125. General admission tickets are $45 for FONZ members and $55 for nonmembers. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or low-seated lawn/beach chairs for seating. New Belgium Brewing will be at the party, celebrating with delicious craft beer available for purchase. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, and wine will also be available.
