Adams Morgan Movie Night
The Admo outdoor movie screening has relocated this year to Walter Pierce Park (2630 Adams Mill Road). The films will roll on the soccer field behind Mama Ayesha’s near the dog park. Early bird gets the cookie for this season’s first showing, be one of the first 100 people to arrive and get a free cookie from Insomnia Cookies. BicycleSPACE is also providing complimentary bike valet service again this year.

Georgetown Sunset Cinema
Georgetown BID is back again with the neighborhood’s annual movie series on Tuesdays. Grab a blanket, bring a picnic and head to the waterfront to view films with the panoramic backdrop of the sunset, Potomac River and Key Bridge. Films start at sunset (around 8:30 p.m.), arrive early to picnic and to get the best seating.

The final movie will be decided based on the results of a Facebook poll. The four movies up for a vote are The First Wives Club, 10 Things I Hate About You, Trainwreck, and The Devil Wears Prada. Voting is open through May 31.

NoMa Summer Screen
NoMa Summer Screen is a free, 13-week outdoor film series held at NoMa Junction at Story Park (1005 First Street NE)  every Wednesday June 7 through August 30, doors open at 7 p.m. Before the show, enjoy  music, giveaways, food trucks, and picnicking. Movies start at dark and are screened with subtitles. Bring your blankets, frisbees, coolers, and dogs (on a leash) for some good times with friends and neighbors under the stars.

Golden Cinema Series
This summer’s movie series at Farragut Square kicks off with Academy Award-nominated “Hidden Figures” with special guests from NASA. Movies play every Friday June 2 through August 4 and begin at sunset as the concluding event of the Farragut Friday event series, which includes an outdoor office space, picnics in Farragut Park, lawn games, and table tennis competitions. This event series provides lively entertainment and activities in Farragut Park from 9 a.m. through the conclusion of Golden Cinema around 11 p.m. Mark your calendar and join neighbors under the stars for a night of entertaining movies and activities. Make a night of it and plan to take advantage of the array of restaurants and retailers in the neighborhood – shopping, dining, and a movie make a great way to spend an evening in the Golden Triangle.

Union Market Drive-In
The Union Market Drive-In is back with movies showing through November. Movies begin at 8 p.m. and are free for walkers & bikers, $10 tickets are needed for cars. The lot opens at 6 p.m. and closes promptly at 8:15 p.m.

Capitol Riverfront Movie Series
Capitol Riverfront’s Thursday Night Movies returns to Canal Park at Navy Yard from June through August. Movies, starting at sundown, were selected or inspired by public demand. Arrive early to save your spot, bring a picnic, and enjoy the show.

U Street Movie Series: Harrison Field Under the Stars

Held at Harrison Field (1330 V St NW), the U Street Movie Series features four films and a Family Fun Day at the recreation center pre-showtime.

Mitchell Park Films in the Field

The Friends of Mitchell Park host monthly outdoor films at the park, located just north of Dupont Circle (S & 23rd Street, NW)

Films at the Stone
Films at the Stone debuts this year as the only outdoor film fest taking place at a memorial on the National Mall. Films displaying the best of human strength, love, and courage will be shown at the MLK Jr. Memorial, starting at 8:15 p.m.
