Pop-up Mini Golf Course in Southeast

The Shops at Penn Hill has transformed into D.C.’s newest pop-up attraction with Penn Hill Mini Golf, a unique course that is part art exhibit and part interactive entertainment. Built by the community for the community, the site hosts nine holes each individually designed by a local artist. After playing the course, players can vote on their favorite design, play their favorite lawn games (designed by Cory Oberndorfer) and grab a bite from local food trucks.
Produced by Building Creative (Karyn Miller and Patrick McDonough, co-curators) the unique site in Southeast D.C. takes an unconventional approach combining contemporary installation with leisurely recreation.

Players can enjoy the pop-up lawn game experience every weekend through Columbus Day (Oct. 8) for $3 per person or $10 for a group of 4. Free passes are also available through surrounding civic associations.
