The Monuments


Tourists can’t miss the monuments on a trip to D.C.. However, avoid the crazy daytime crowds and get a much more ambient experience with them by visiting at night. Although the museums will be closed at that time, it’s a fine way to connect to and appreciate the nation’s past. The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial are all within walking distance, and you can’t miss them with their illuminating lights.
