Alexandria’s Food and Wine Festival
The fest is complete with live entertainment, food and wine tasting, and demonstrations. Over 10,000 people are anticipated for this popular event. Local restaurants will compete for the best appetizer, the best main course and the best desert. Guests will be able to sample food and wine from diverse local restaurant and Virginia’s wineries.
Location: It is located in John Carlyle Square in the Carlyle District of Alexandria. It is conveniently located just three blocks from the King Street Metro Station and four blocks from the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station on Metrorail’s Yellow and Blue Lines.
Cost: This is a free event to attend; however tickets are needed to sample food and beverages. It is $20 for a 25 taste ticket book and $10 per person for the wine garden.
