As I was walking past Adams Mill tonight on my way back from a night out in Adams Morgan, I happened to spot some activity inside the shuttered establishment.

The popular Admo summer hangout shut its doors back in February after an 11-year history plagued by a series of Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration investigations. Well, the good news is a new bar is going in and from what I could see, they have begun remodeling the inside (same layout) installing a brand new wood bar and new taps. Looks like they still have a ways to go but I’d guess it will be open by April 2012.

Happy to be able to spend some of my 2012 summer back on the patio at Columbia and 18th!
