On Saturday, October 29th, be prepared to be scared as over 8,000 people flood Midtown DC and “trick-or-treat” between 16 popular bars. Officially on sale October 3rd, this event plans to break records with the volume on inquiries pouring in about the event.

“This event has taken on a life of its own,” says Dave Lindenauer, President of Lindy Promotions. “We had no idea 12 years ago it could turn into this.”

Between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m., Nightmare on M Street will feature discounts from 17 of DC’s best bars and restaurants including Mackey’s, Madhatter, Rumors, The Front Page, Black Rooster Pub, Penang, Ozio, McFaddens and James Hoban’s Irish Pub. Other participating bars include Sign of the Whale, Public Bar, BlackFinn, Recessions, Lupe Cantina, Bread & Brew, Mighty Pint and Buffalo Biliards. Those who attend will enjoy $2 Coors Lights, $3 Blue Moons, $3 Red Bulls, $4 Bacardi Oakheart drinks, $5 Red Bull & Bacardi Torched Cherry or Arctic Grape bombs, and additional great food and drink specials.

Advance tickets are sold online at lindypromo.com and prices will increase as the event nears. If the event does not sell out, walk-up tickets will be available from 5-10pm at McFadden’s (2401 Pennsylvania Ave), The Front Page (1333 New Hampshire) and Mackey’s (1823 L St.). Be sure to buy your tickets early as there will be a cover charge at each bar without an event wristband.
