Soul Asylum Headlines Uncle Sam Jam

For the first time ever, Lindy Promotions is teaming up with Zanzibar and Hogate’s to bring you DC’s largest 4th of July festival, The Uncle Sam Jam.

The festival will be held on Sunday, July 4th from 3-10pm along the Southwest Waterfront. The festival grounds will be located inside Hogate’s and Zanzibar restaurants as well as in the two parking lots adjacent to Zanzibar and the boardwalk that runs the length the two restaurants.

With no other event like it, there will be no better way to celebrate America’s birthday in the nation’s capital.

The Uncle Sam Jam will feature four party areas and stages, including both indoor and outdoor entertainment featuring 5 bands and 6 DJs. There will be over 20 bars, tons of food and a spectacular view of both the DC and Northern Virginia fireworks.

In its inaugural year, The Uncle Sam Jam is proud to announce a great lineup of bands which include; Soul Asylum, Virginia Coalition, Back To Zero, Full Effect, and the Mark Leverone Duo. Additionally, multiple DJ’s will be performing in both outside party areas as well as inside the two restaurants. DC 101’s Flounder will be playing his “Mash Ups” while Chris Styles, DJ Maskell, DJ Image, Chris Avalos and DJ Ramzy will be spinning all the hottest jams throughout the day.

Current prices for regular tickets are only $10 and VIP tickets are currently $50. VIP tickets include exclusive access to Zanzibar’s Party Deck and Sky Club Rooftop, the best viewing areas for the fireworks and 5 free tickets with which to purchase drinks or food. Group ticket discounts are also available for those purchasing 10 or more tickets. Ticket prices will increase as the event gets closer.

Sponsors of the Uncle Sam Jam include; Dos Equis, Absolut, Malibu, Red Bull, the Washington Post Express and Metro Mix.

To help celebrate America’s birthday in the safest way possible, taking public transportation is strongly recommended. The Southwest Waterfront is easily accessible by L’Enfant and Waterfront SEU metro stations and the Circulator, so there is no need to drive.
