Cherry Blossom Festival in Full Swing

Looking for something to do over the next two weeks? The 2010 National Cherry Blossom Festival is going on through April 11. This year’s festival marks the 98th celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees by the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912.

The Key Event Dates are:

National Cherry Blossom Festival Family Day & Opening Ceremony – Saturday, March 27th
National Building Museum – 401 F Street, NW

Fireworks Display on the Southwest Waterfront – Saturday, April 3rd

National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade – Saturday, April 10th

Sakura Matsuri — Japanese Street Festival – Saturday, April 10th
