Cheap Eats: Sushi in Dupont Circle

Since Valentine’s Day of 1990, the Thai Chef has been bringing healthy, fresh and tasty Thai food to the Dupont Circle neighborhood.

Their main dining room and its mezzanine section offer an exciting and vibrant atmosphere. The third floor dining room, with its warm and cozy ambiance, is often used for private parties, office meetings and large group reservations. In summer 2003; a dynamic sushi bar was introduced to the restaurant. Their valuable customers can now enjoy fresh seafood from the sushi bar, as well as delicious items from our original Thai cuisine menu. Thai Chef’s fresh look, combined with exotic dishes served by the friendly and attentive staff, creates a remarkable dining experience.

Their happy hour menu includes:

Maki sushi rolls starting at $3 (avocado), $1.50 Nigiri sushi, and $4 specialty drinks (cosmo, apple martini, vodka Redbull).

Best sushi happy hour is Singapore Bistro. You should write something about that. $4 martinis, $1 sushi, $3 calamari.
