Weezer, Blink 182 to Headline Free Virgin Fest Concert

weezerThe 2009 Virgin Mobile Festival is not only moving to Merriweather Post Pavilion, but tickets will be free this year!

35,000 people will be able to enjoy an all-day concert headlined by rock bands Weezer and Blink-182 and hip hop act Public Enemy.

The event will take place August 30 and will also feature Franz Ferdinand, Jet, the National, Girl Talk, The Bravery, The Hold Steady, St. Vincent, Wale, and Taking Back Sunday.

Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster.com starting 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27.
