More entertainment options will be coming to the area around Nationals Park sooner than expected.

The area around the ball park has been hit with stalled development plans caused by projects not getting funding, according to the Washington Business Journal.

Thanks to Georgetown Events (who partnered with Stroud Productions and Akridge Realty) “The Festival Park on Half Street,” will come to life very soon. The park is a a 14,400-square-foot recreation area which will be located outside one of the entrances of the ballpark and will feature live music, beer, and food.
